Want a OneNote viewer?  How about for FREE?

One of the more popular feature requests we get is for a OneNote viewer.  Well...there isn't one.  But there is an awfully good work-around and the good news is...it's free.

Just go to Microsoft and download the free 60-day trial of OneNote 2007.  I know you're thinking...but I want the viewer for longer than 60 days!  Well, that's the beauty of this. For 60 days you'll have a fully functioning install of OneNote 2007.  You can read, edit, create the whole works.  After 60 days, unless you buy it, the trial version converts to read-only.  Yep - it basically becomes a OneNote viewer!  You can read and view OneNote files to your heart's content.

And if you ever decide you want to go ahead and buy OneNote you can do that, and convert your viewer back to a fully functional version of OneNote.  The trial is available in both English and Spanish.  Just click the link above...

Search Wildcards

Want to search your notebook for ALL dates?  There's actually a wildcard that can do that!  In the search field type "DD" and OneNote will highlight all of the dates that appear in your selected scope (this page, this section, this notebook, etc.).  DD isn't the only wildcard, here are a couple of others:

  • TT: All times
  • NN: All numbers
